What is a SolarGorilla?

Using 24 volt and 5 volt USB socket the Solargorilla gives you power anywhere under the sun, this Solargorilla is the ultimate charging device for your laptop when teamed with the PowerGorilla, although the SolarGorilla has a possibility of charging some laptops, it is ideally to be bought with the PowerGorilla.

Together the PowerGorilla and the SolarGorilla are an unstoppable force of charging power.

Using two PV (photovoltaic) solar panels, the Solargorilla generates electric current when they are exposed to sunlight, the solar panels are technically advanced which ensure fantastic power and reliable performance.

SolarGorilla trials

Aid agencies, emergency services, the military and adventure travellers have successfully trialed the SolarGorilla in the Southern Hemisphere, where power is a crucial element of their communications strategy. Pre-production models were also tested in Africa, Australia and even Afghanistan. The solargorilla was extensively field-tested in the UK earlier this year, where it powered a number of laptops for a week at a time.

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation suffered communications problems in the past and the products have been hugely acclaimed as being a long overdue solution to power issues. Pre-production units have also been on field tests in Africa, Australia and even Afghanistan. Charging accessory

The SolarGorilla is a charging option for the PowerGorilla and relies on the UV intensity of the sun, therefore the more northern latitudes may be un-suitable, however, if you travel to sunnier climates on a regular basis the SolarGorilla will be a great asset to your bag of gadgets!
